Dollar Bin Film - "Monkey Shines"

A quadriplegic man has a trained monkey help him with his paralysis, until the little monkey begins to develop feelings, and rage, for its new master.
This is one of George Romero's non-zombie films. It's very well made (the editing in the last ten minutes is superb), the acting is good, and the story is unique. This film also reconfirms that monkey are not meant to be pets! I mean what other movie do you know that has romantic scenes between a man and his monkey? This underrated Romero film is certainly worth a look.

Yesss, I bought this movie after seeing a still from the movie of the monkey popping up out of his chest I think it is?
This movie has everything that is good. But let it be known I am a sucker for movies with monkeys in them.

Another excellent choice. I felt so much sympathy for that little monkey. She just had so much love for that guy. *sniff* I have something in my eye.
