Dollar Bin Horror Spotlight - "The Zombie's Survival Guide" Review and Giveaway!

Love Bites. Hate Eats... The "Zombie" Apocalypse is coming. It's not "if" it's "when", and if you think you are going to be one of the brave survivors you see in the movies and video games or read about in books and graphic novels you are sadly mistaken. This book helps you thrive AFTER you turn.

If you've read his first book, "Het Madden: A Zombie's Perspective", then you already know that Calvin Miller likes to look at zombie stories in a whole new, he wants to help the unfortunate souls who end up "living" as on of the undead (which when the apocalypse hits, will most likely be most of us). This little gem is a light read (only 115 pages) but is jam packed with helpful info and tips for the zombie's out there looking to "survive" in a world full of humans with guns and fire power looking to take em out. It's funny, easy to read, and the artwork by Alan Gandy is simple yet stunning. The book goes into detail in teaching us the difference between zombies and humans (even their scientific names), what humans pose more of a threat to your undead safety, and how you became what you are. It teaches you tips on how to avoid the humans attacks and how to beat them (and eat them). This book has got to be one of my favorite books I've reviewed, and I've already read it twice (working on a third). It's one of the most unique and genius guides out there for horror fans and a must have for zombie lovers. You can snag your copy HERE or on Amazon...but you could also try to win one of two, that's right TWO copies I have!

So what do you have to do to win? Easy! Leave a comment with your name, email, and a tip for how zombie's can survive the world of humans and guns. Thats it! Winners will be chosen on Oct 22 so GET TO IT!!!!

Zombies can learn to eat animals that squeel, cluck or moo.

Make sure you are wearing a kevlar vest and riot helmet (facemask removed) prior to your death. When you come back, you will be much more difficult to dispatch than the rest of those unprotected zombies!

How do zombies survive?

here's "tip" suggestion,
Don't bite off more than you can chew. Shamble, duck, and weave.
Stay out of the sun, it makes you smell and rot faster!! Good Luck!!

if you find yourself a zombie, you may feel a compulsion to hit the mall. This is a blessing and a curse since there will probably be some fresh flesh on hand and you can easily just blend in with the 'extras' hanging around, but you could also run into your heavy duty survivalists types who have seen all the movies. When there's no more room at the mall, the dead will walk all o' earth. Even airplanes.

Zombies have to learn not to eat human flesh if they are to survive in the world of the living. Somone needs to invent a "synthetic flesh" for zombies to chew on instead of attacking humans.

Your best best it to try and pass as a living being. How? Invest in makeup before you're dead. That way, once your blood settles, you can fake the "blush of youth" on your cheeks, can darken your lashes to try and make your eyes pop in a good way, and make your lips look less like a rictus grin and more like a living person. Also? Scented lotion. It's best to be soft, not rough and rotting, and it'll help cover up that decaying scent!
