Dollar Bin Film - "Arachnophobia"

South American killer spider hitches a lift to the US in a coffin and starts to breed and kill.
Way before 8 Legged Freaks, this movie has been torturing us true arachnophobes. Even though this is meant to be a horror/comedy type movie, it scares the shit outta me. I fucking HATE spiders, so this film gives me nightmares every time I see it. John Goodman as the good-hearted local exterminator make me smile when I see him...then another big ass fucking spider comes on screen and that smiles gone faster that Paris Hilton's panties.
Sending Deadly Kisses,
Rhonny Reaper

*** On a side note, Dollar Bin Horror has won another award! Blackroseofdesire.com has bestowed upon DBH the Dark Site award! A huge thanks!

I love this movie but it took me a really really long time to sit all the way through it due to my huge fear of spiders. It's hilarity and John Goodman's role helps things a lot- but I still get the heebie jeebies when all those spiders take over the house at the end!

Haven't seen this one in years. Love the turn of phrase in "gone faster than Paris Hilton's panties" -- you've got a great way with words.

And congrats on the prize!

I HATE spiders!!! They make me feel sick!! Once, I was in the bath, looked round, saw a spider on the wall and it made my ear pop. I hate them THAT MUCH! I have however managed to watch this film, mostley looking away at critical moment. God, I'm such a girl.

Well done on the award! Well deserved.

My Mom rented this for my friends and I during a sleepover at my house when I was in first or second grade. Everyone went home after that, and my Mom got yelled at by several of my friends parents for showing something so scary. I loved it though.

Haha, you flatter me. Also, you inspired today's review over at RSR with your commentary about spiders.
