*I may change the name to "Cyber Scream Queen of the Day" cause it's more technically correct that "Viral". Still debating in my head lol*

Dollar Bin Film - "Blood Cult"

The members of a violent satanic cult murder college students and collect their body parts. They use the dismembered limbs to create a horrible monstrosity for their ceremonies.
This film was the first film ever to go direct to video. If you looked up "Low Budget Bad 80's film" in the dictionary, heres the film you'd see! And when I say low budget, I mean It probably could have been made in my kitchen. Theres cheap gore, Satanic rituals, really bad acting at every turn...everything you want in a bad 80's film! It's so bad, you gotta love it!

My Top 5 Christmas Horror Films for the Holiday Season

It's that time of year again. Peace on earth, Good will toward men, yada yada yada...What about us? The horror fan? Whats out there for us? Well I gathered a list of my 5 favorite Christmas themed horror movies just for you. Enjoy!

#5 Gremlins
A boy inadvertently breaks 3 important rules concerning his new pet and unleashes a horde of malevolently mischievous monsters on a small town.
When I was little, this movie fucked me up. I hated those little evil Gremlins and thought they were under my bed. But no fear, the cute little Gizmo is here! This film is actually more warm hearted than the others on this list, but for the simple fact that I had to check under my bed when I was little, this film makes the list...wait did you hear that?...*lifts blankets*...

#4 Black Christmas
A sorority house is terrorized by a stranger who makes frightening phone calls and then murders the sorority sisters during Christmas break.
Now when i talk about this film, I am referring to the original, not that god awful remake people called a film. The original was a stylish holiday slasher film that was actually pretty scary. If you haven't see the original, please do cause it kills the remake.

#3 Silent Night Deadly Night
After his parents are murdered, a young tormented teenager goes on a murderous rampage dressed as Santa, due to his stay at an orphanage where he was abused by the Mother Superior.
This film caused a riot of controversy in 1984 and was pull from theaters. It was then re-released by a independent film distributor in 1986, all because the killer was dressed as Santa (but no one said shit about Christmas Evil...huh?) Anyway it's a good horror film, a great cult classic, so go check it out.

#2 Christmas Evil
A psycho in a Santa suit gets to decide who's been naughty and who's been nice.
For all it's low budget faults, this is a really good film. It follows Harry's decent into madness and hell, i kinda felt sorry for him. I got this film on vhs about a 3 years ago and watch it every year around this time. This film is certainly worth a peak this holiday season so you better check it out, cause Santa's watching your ass!

#1 Jack Frost
A serial killer dies, comes back as a snowman, and wreaks havoc.
Ok this film is just silly. The story line is so far out there, Neil Armstrong could walk on it. But none the less, I fucking LOVE this movie. The shower scene made me laugh so hard, I nearly fell off my couch. Maybe I'm sick in the head, but this film makes me feel good every time I watch it, so it's at the top of my list!

Well there you have it folks. Here my favorite films in Holiday Horror. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, What the fuck ever.

Dollar Bin Film - "Daughters of Satan"

James Robertson buys a painting depicting witches being burned at the stake, one of whom bears an uncanny resemblance to his wife, Chris. She is taken over by the personality of the witch, allies herself with two other reincarnated witches to plan James' death, as he proves to be a descendant of the man responsible for the witches' fate.
Theres really only one thing to say about this movie...boring. I mean there are a couple of good scenes, some nudity, and the actress playing Chris did a good job, but the movie's pace is slow as hell, the story line is pretty far out there (even for a 70's occult flick), and Tom Selleck just doesn't belong in horror movies (No matter how awesome the mustache is). It just doesn't work for me.

Dollar Bin Film - "Mutant"

Two brothers discover that the residents of a small Southern town are being infected by a form of toxic waste, turning them into blood-ravenous zombies.
This film actually wasn't that bad. It's a low budget independent genre film, so I didn't expect much, but I actually enjoyed this one. I like the idea that these aren't just any zombies...these are toxic waste zombies so if they even touch you, you get a bad ass chemical burn! The gore and makeup isn't the best, but I'm kinda fond of the cheap make up. The acting isn't to bad (I mean it's not great, but it works), the music is pretty creepy, and it even has some crazy ass rednecks (reminds me of my family). Overall I really enjoyed this film so yeah, I'd recommend this movie.

Dollar Bin Book - "Dead & Buried?" by Jim Somerville

The remnats of a battle in space lands on Earth and re-animates the dead. It is not long before the living dead overrun the unsuspecting populace. Now, a ragtag band of survivors are striking back and taking back their planet.
This graphic novel is just that, graphic! Blood, check. Gore, yup got. Rapping Zombie, chec...wait what? Well hell it got that too! The book has three stories about the Zombie take over, 2 short ones ad the main story. All of which are great. The artwork is detailed and definitely NOT for the little ones (unless you wanna corrupt and scar your kids for life, then by all means let em read!) I LOVE a good Zombie story. And believe me, this ones good. Oh and did I mention one of the zombies can rap!?!

Proof of Rapping Zombie (I've got this at a yard sale over a year ago and STILL can't get over this!)

Dollar Bin Film - "Jaws of Satan"

A variety of snakes descend on a small town, inflicting fatal bites on various hapless citizens, just in time for the opening of a dog track. Irreverent Father Tom Farrow comes to believe that the king cobra mobilizing all of these creatures is the incarnation of Satan himself.
Yeah lets just call this one "Snakes on a Jaws Ripp-Off". I mean come on, the local Bigwig and the Mayor care more about the business that the dog track will pull in rather than public safety while a crazed animal is killing the towns people left and right. Now where could they have possibly got this idea from... And the worst part is it's not really that good of a rip-off. The only savior for this film for me was The priest, no pun intended, played by Fritz Weaver (dude for "The Crate" bit in Creepshow). Is he the only one who can act? I'm afraid so (and thats about as scary as it gets here folks).
