Dollar Bin Film - "Virgin Terror"

A detective investigating the murder of a teenage girl begins to focus his suspicions on the three girlfriends of the victim, who call themselves "The Inseparables." This film is the third installment of Massimo Dallamo's "school girl trilogy" (finished and released after his death), but isn't exactly a sequel so it stands on it's own as a film. Fabio Testi gives a good performance as Inspector Di Salvo and is recommended to any classic horror fan.

Dollar Bin Film - "Invitation to Hell"

A young girl attends her high school reunion, but when it's discovered she is still a virgin, she is taken prisoner and planned to be used as a sacrifice in a Druid ceremony for the spring equinox. This movie has a bizarre ending that could belong in an Argento movie. If you like British horror, low budget films, good old gore, or just in search of something a bit different, this is worth seeking out. And for a buck, you can't go wrong!

Dollar Bin Film - "Horror Hotel"

On the recommendation of her professor (Christopher Lee), a young female student (Venetia Stevenson) travels to a small Massachusetts town to do some research into witchcraft. She finds the town occupied by the reincarnation of an infamous witch (Patricia Jessel) burned at the stake in the 17th century. Though the films stars Christopher lee, the real star is the witch Patricia Jessel, who performance makes me feel uneasy to this day. This is a must see for horror fans or fans of classic films. This film is also known under the title "City of the Dead".

Dollar Bin Film - "The Ape"

Dr. Bernard Adrian is a kindly mad scientist who wants to cure a young woman's polio. He needs spinal fluid from a human to complete the formula for his experimental serum. Meanwhile, a vicious circus ape has broken out of its cage, and is terrorizing people. While it has it's flaws, this movie stars the legend Boris Karloff and is a nice addition to any horror or Karloff movie collection...plus it can be found for only a buck! How can you beat that?

Dollar Bin Film - "Hatchet for the Honeymoon"

A bridal design shop owner kills various young brides-to-be in an attempt to unlock a repressed childhood trauma that's causing him to commit murder. It was directed and co-written by Mario Bava, one of the greatest names from the golden age of Italian horror films. This film is an intriguing and often underrated addition to Mario Bava's formidable canon. Stylish, entertaining and darkly funny, this movie is a colorful psycho drama from the great Mario Bava.

Dollar Bin Film - "Werewolf in a Girl's Dormitory"

At a girl's school, several students are murdered by a snarling, wolf-man-like creature. Suspicion falls upon a newly arrived teacher. The script is by Ernesto Gastaldi who wrote some of the masterpieces of Italian horror cinema in 1960s. This is an entertaining little movie that serves to show the potential "beast" that lurks within the heart of all respectable men when they get around nubile young women.
