R.I.P. Ray Bradbury 1920-2012

By Eric Polk-
Today, the worlds of horror,sci-fi, and American literature lost a legend in Ray Bradbury. From my perspective, Mr. Bradbury indirectly aided in expanding the pool of my literary well that until then was limited to Stephen King.

Though he is known more for sci-fi and allegory(Fahrenheit 451), Ray Bradbury crafted some fantastic pieces of pre-Stephen King horror such as the classic Something Wicked This Way Comes and The Jar. Mr. Bradbury certainly left an influential mark on not only me, but others who enjoyed his dark carnival and/or his life on Mars. He will be truly missed. It was a pleasure to read.
