Eric's Season in Hell:Terror on Tour(1980)

By Eric Polk-
Finally...this month long bad horror movie torture has come to a conclusion. Though, in all honesty, only three of the movies I watched this month could be considered truly dreadful(The Exorcist II, Oasis of the Zombies, and Jaws:The Revenge).Terror on Tour is another film that although not a masterpiece of macabre cinema, is a tasty cheeseball.

A killer is stalking groupies of the band known as The Clowns(KISS wannabes that delve into some Alice Cooper stuff), killing them off one by one. That's pretty much it. The music is actually not bad(considering The Clowns were played by a real group called The Names). The acting is what you'd expect for a sleazy early-80s slasher. T and A is prevalent throughout and you know who the killer is 5 mins. into it.

The major quibble I had with this movie was the ending. I'm guessing the producers ran out of money because it just leaves you say Oh Hell. Other than that, if you know what to expect, I don't think you'll be too disappointed. Besides, it was a Media Home Entertainment release but in the VHS days. Of course, it's not out on dvd , but it certainly is on a site that rhymes with too cube.

(See it's all over now Little Guy. You're happy again)
