Day 4 "Favorite werewolf movie" of the 30 day horror challenge

Favorite werewolf movie? A sub-genre in the horror field that doesn't get enough movies in my opinion if you ask me. When we do they are either something completely amazing like The Howling. Or they are something completely overrated like An American Werewolf in London that was just far too jerky, uneven and all over the place. Or they are an abysmal failure like Wolves of Wall Street where they forget to engage the viewer in some werewolf action to begin with! So which film gets my pic? That distinction goes to....

Wolf. Call me a sucker, but I love seeing Jack Nicholson playing this meek little guy who's about to be outsed from his job and who's wife is having an affair on him and then how he transforms to this aggressive go getter to reclaim his spot on top. As if that wasn't enough, we have a sizzling love story involving Michelle Pfeiffer. In Wolf, Michelle Pfeiffer more then holds her own against good ole Jack which is no easy task! They have such an intense chemistry throughout Wolf.

Michelle Pfeiffer is one of those actresses who's been pretty much amazing in just about every film she does. I think the problem is, she is so beautiful and so lady like that people discount her. So she has to keep coming out with amazing performance after amazing performance to wake people up to just how talented she is... kinda like Nicholson's character in Wolf. Isn't it funny how real life mimics reel life with Wolf?

So which film would you have picked? ....to take part, the rules are below, or you can check out the Facebook fan page and interact with everyone else that's taking part by visiting:

Or feel free to start your own blog posts on your site! (You can start on day one or you can feel free to join me on day we are currently at). Or just feel free to leave us a little comment so we know which film made the cut for you!

The rules are simple, just pick your favorite horror film for each day! However, you can't pick the same horror film more then once. So once you pick say The Exorcist for your favorite horror film involving the powers of Hell, you can't repick it again for any other day what so ever including favorite horror film. And for once, I am opening up the comments section so that, yes, you can comment each day along with me on your favorite picks! So let's get to it! This is the 30 Day Horror Film Challenge!

It's been a long time since I've seen this movie. But not long enough. I don't remember liking this movie at all, even though I love Nicholson.

My werewolf post will be appearing in a few hours...that one movie directed by John Landis.

I chose Underworld because it was the first movie that made werewolves seem cool to me. Of course Wolf is awesome too.
