Dollar Bin Horror Spotlight - Enter the Dark

Charles has a problem.  There's something in his house scaring his family and it just won't leave them alone.  They've all heard voices, seen dark shapes moving in the shadows, felt that uneasy sensation of being watched.  Finally Charles captures something on his audio recorder that proves they're not all going crazy.  He decides to make a stand, enlisting the help of his long-time buddy, Rob Tupper, to delve into the mystery of his unwanted guest and hopefully send it on its way.  If they can somehow figure out what the entity is and what it wants, maybe they can all finally have some peace.

It's very rare that a horror movie really makes me jump anymore without using stupid gags like something falling out of a closet...this 17 minute short has no gags. It's just scary. It's shot beautifully and is well acted throughout. It changes from camera to camera depending on who's view point the shot is from, similar to Paranormal Activity or Blair Witch, yet it somehow captures the feel, suspense, and terror of both of those films in a short time frame. It's not at all cheesy and the dialogue is quite believable. It's just a really damn good film. The only fault I had with it is that I wanted more! I would love to see what could be done with this in a feature length film. You can read more about it HERE!
