Dollar Bin Film - "The Vineyard"
Winemaker Dr. Elson Po (James Hong) fears that he is getting too old, so he uses the blood of his prisoners to make his world-famous wine. A group of young actors come to his mansion to audition for his purported "wine-making film." The seven guests soon find out the secret of his wine and must escape.
This film confused the hell outta me cause nothing is ever explained. What the bodies of the visitors have to do with the wine is never explained. Neither is why zombies rise on the island. Speaking of them, the zombie makeup is cheap as hell (I mean just look at the movie's poster...I can buy a better Halloween mask at Walmart!) and the film's acting and script are just hopeless. This is one of those really bad horror films that are kinda funny the first time you watch it, but I wouldn't waste another hour of my life watching it again. It sure as hell has enough cheese to go with Dr. Po's wine, but not the fancy cheese, more like Kraft.

This is one I've seen on the shelf so many times in so many video stores, and never picked up.
I didn't want to tarnish James Hong in my mind. Looks like it was a good think I followed by instincts!
lol he wasn't too bad in this...everything else was! lol
